Worship thru Music
Worship through music…sing when your heart is full and sing to
fill your heart. This is a key part of our worship.
Worship thru Prayer
Bow our heads. Raise our hands. Fall on our knees. Whisper. Go in your
closet. Join others. It doesn’t matter how you approach the throne
of the Living God; he hears you. Come pray with us.
Worship Resources
We are called to worship God more than just an hour a week. We encourage
you to join one of our small groups. We have an excellent library with
lots of resources to help you grow: fiction and non-fiction, adult and
children, books, music or videos. The library is located at the west
end of Fellowship Hall. And here are some web
resources to help you in your personal worship.
Faith Stories
Why stories?
Good stories make the information come alive. A story is more likely
to touch people than the best spelled out theology. Stories are where
our beliefs come alive, where they become incarnate, tangible, real.
Stories tell of God's faithfulness to us. Bottom line,
the church is people, not a building, and we want to share how God is
working through his church at HUMC. Read some of our members' faith
