“I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my
mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.”
(Psalm 89:1)
“Then
I will praise you with music on the harp, because you are faithful to
your promises, O God. I will sing for you with a lyre, O Holy One of Israel.”
(Psalm 71:22)
“Then
you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making
music to the Lord in your hearts.”
(Ephesians 5:19)

Praise
Groups
From small voices to dancing feet, from hands of praise to full-band praise
songs... Nothing grabs our heart and gets us excited quite like praising
God through music.
|
Praise
Band
The Praise Band leads the singing at the 8:15 and 10:45 worship services.
They encourage the congregation to sing out to the Lord with their voices,
hearts, and hands by praising God on guitars (electric, acoustic and bass),
drums and other percussion instruments, organ and piano, with an occasional
flute, hammered dulcimer, recorder, or saxophone joining in. Sometimes
they use only their voices to make music. Most of the songs are contemporary
Christian music, but we do not forget the great hymns of our tradition.

| Junior
Praise Band
It is always a treat when the Junior Praise Band provides special music
or leads worship. These talented teens praise God through instruments
and vocals.
|
| Coffee
Houses
Join us for a special evening of music during the coffee houses we hold
every few months. The sanctuary is transformed into a coffee house with
tables and chairs, with desserts, coffee and other drinks available. The
Praise Bands and individual acts perform along with sing-a-long praise
choruses. In this relaxed setting, come as you are and enjoy the music.
Watch calendar for details.
|
| Concerts
As a church that loves music, sometimes we sponsor concerts at our church
or attend concerts in other venues. Often a busload of our teens will
travel together to concerts, or we’ll have a block of tickets available.

Choirs
Love music? Enjoy being with other people who do? We offer choirs for
all ages and all types of abilities. We even have a sign language choir.
Choirs are offered on Wednesday nights after the Prime
Time meal.

Churchmouse Choir
This choir is for the youngest singers in our church. Children ages five
through third grade meet once a week for an hour throughout the school
year to learn songs about Jesus and grow as a Christian. They perform
their songs as a group about once a month during worship service. What
a joy to hear their enthusiastic voices!
Smallsound Bell choir
What is sweeter, the sound of the bells or the children
in this choir? This bell choir is open to students in grades 3 and 4.
No need to read music; somehow the director works magic with the children
and the bells. |

Rhythm
and Praise Choir
Hold on! You never know what will happen with this fast-paced energetic
choir of kids in grades 4 through 8--music, drama, costumes, dance. Come
join the fun. |

Hallelujah Hands
Choir
Hallelujah Hands is a sign language choir for anyone interested in music
and who likes the beauty of sign language. Even if you just want to try
it because it looks like fun, you are welcome.
You don't have to know any sign language to join; all the signs are taught.
We have a mixture of sign language skills, ranging from people who have
been involved for many years to people who have recently joined and know
no sign language at all. We have deaf members as well as hearing. All ages
are welcome. |
If you have any questions or suggestions about our music programs, or want
to volunteer for special worship music, please contact
Heather Hutchison, our Music Director. She would love to hear from you.
